Joint Complex (UC2)

UC-II® collagen is a patented form of undenatured (native) type 2 collagen. It is manufactured through a gentle, low temperature, non-enzymatic process that preserves the triple-helix structure and immune-activating properties of native collagen.* UC-II® collagen works in the small intestine through a process called oral tolerization to help slow down the degradation of type II collagen in joints.* This novel ingredient has been the subject of numerous clinical trials, including two comparative studies that indicate UC-II® collagen may be more effective than the current "gold standard" combination of glucosamine + chondroitin.* Overall, UC-II® collagen has been shown to produce broad-spectrum joint effects:
